2018 BDGA Brian Williams Senior Net Championship

Eligibility

This championship is open to male amateur golfers who meet the following requirements:

  • Membership: Be a member of the BDGA, defined as either (1) belonging to a BDGA member club or (2) joining the BDGA as a 2018 BDGA Associate Member.
  • Age: Be at least 50 years old as of August 31, 2018.
  • Handicap Index: Must have a USGA Handicap Index as this is a handicap event.  100% of handicap will be given.

 

Divisions
There are three divisions in this championship that will compete: Seniors (ages 50+), Legends Division (ages 60+) and Masters (ages 70+).  The overall winner can come from any division.


Field Size

The field will be limited to the first 80 players to register, with all additional players added to a wait list.
 

Entry Deadline

All entries must be received by the BDGA by 11:00pm on August 28, 2018. Entries will not be accepted if they are late, incomplete, faxed, emailed, or submitted without full payment.

 

Format
18 holes of individual stroke play.  100% handicap will be used.


Schedule of Events

Tee times begin at 1:00pm. Dinner will be served upon completion of the round.  Awards/prizes will be presented during the meal.

 

Golf Carts and Range
Payment for use of golf carts and the range is included in the entry fee.

 

Caddies
Caddies are permitted for this event.

 

Food & Beverage
Players will receive a complimentary meal upon completion of the event.  Soft drinks are included.  Alcoholic beverages are not included.  The bar will be open for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.

 

Practice Rounds
Practice rounds are available at Niagara Frontier CC.  Please call the pro shop for tee time availability and cost.

 

Awards
Awards will be given to the winner of each division Seniors (50+), Legends (60+), and Masters (70+) and overall winner.

 

Prizes
The top finishers in each division will earn gift certificates prizes redeemable in the host club pro shop.  The number of finishers to receive a prize in each division will be based on the number of entries.


Refund Policy

 

The entry fee will be refunded if a player withdraws prior to the close of entries, less a $10 service fee.
